Business to Customer Internet Scenario: Change Billing Address

Scope of Functions

With this function, utility company customers can change their billing addresses in the system. After selecting his/her premise, the customer's current billing address is displayed, and the customer can enter a new billing address.

Effects on Existing Data

From the technical perspective, an additional address is created for the business partner who changes their data, and this new address is used as the fixed address in the contract account for home delivery of the bill.

Effects on Customizing

You can configure the process in Customizing under Define Control Parameters for Internet Self- Services such that changes are not updated directly in the system. Instead, a work item is generated in the clerk's work list. The clerk can then verify the data and update it in the system after verification.
