Generate PM Orders during Correction of Meter Reading Result

Scope of Functions

If Customizing for order creation previously indicated that no service order should be generated for a meter reading order, it wasn't possible to subsequently generate a service request either. Furthermore,you could not generate an additional service order for a postponed meter reading result for control purposes if a service order had already been generated.

You can now directly generate a service order when you correcting a postponed meter reading result, provided the following requirements are met:

• Any service order that already exists for the register has been completed.

• No service order has been generated yet for the meter reading result, neither automatically in order creation nor through manual creation during the correction.

If you have never used service orders before, you will have to configure the following settings in Customizing_

• Define Plant Determination for Orders

• Define Plant Determination for Notifications

• Define Order Codes

• Define Service Objects

• Assign Order Codes for Service Objects

• Define Notification Codes

• Define Activity Schema

• Define Notification Profiles
