Formula Profile Header (Enhanced)

Use

The following functions have been added or enhanced in the the Details tab in the header data for formula profiles:

  • Go to the Display Formula transaction.
Double-click the Formula (formula for calculating profiles) to branch to the Display Formula screen.
  • No Calculation (Do Not Calculate Formula Allocation)
If you select this field, the formula allocation is ignored in the next formula calculation.
  • Status
The status of the calculation is displayed as a symbol. To display the legend for the symbol, choose Information.
To display all periods, choose Detail.
If there are errors in the formula allocation, you can choose Calc. Errors to view them. You can also display calculation errors from the calculation workbench.
  • Field help for the Formula Alloc. field
You can use the field help to display the formula allocations that match the interval length and profile value category of the output profile that you want to create. The input parameters are displayed but cannot be selected.
If you use the field help to select a formula allocation, the parameter number you have selected is copied.
  • Hierarchy Display
You can display the hierarchy of the formula allocation as a graphic. To do this, choose Hierarchy Display.
  • Calculate Formula Allocation
If you want to perform synchronous calculation of formula allocations choose Calculate Formula Allocation.

  • Tree Structure
You can display a profile in the group box Profile Allocation by double-clicking on the line with profile number in the hierarchy tree structure. You can position your cursor on the the profile number and use a right mouse-click to branch to the profile header.
  • Group box Profile Allocation
  • To go to the Change Profile Values transaction you can double-click on the Profile field.

  • No Trigger

If you select this field, the formula allocation is flagged for calculation if profile values are changed. However, calculation does not take place until the values are imported and the relevant profile is marked as triggering a calculation.
  • Constant Value

If you select this field, you can enter a constant value (such as a fixed factor profile valid for a longer period) in the profile allocation instead of a profile. However, you cannot enter both a profile and constant value.
  • Create Allocation

If there are gaps in the consecutive number, you can choose Create Allocation. The next available number is displayed in a dialog box and can be adopted.
