Cleaning and Winter Maintenance (New)

Use

You can now perform business processes for cleaning and winter maintenance.

The following new master data has been added to the Waste Management (IS-U-WA) component for this purpose:

Cleaning Object

A cleaning object is a concrete object that is to be cleaned. Each cleaning object is allocated to the regional structure, in other words to a precise address (street, house number, affix) and a house number interval. It can be allocated to more than one piece of property and can also contain subordinate cleaning objects.

• Main Street

• Central Park

• Waste container at the intersection of Main Street and Charles Street.

Winter maintenance is a cleaning object with a winter maintenance level. Unlike cleaning, winter maintenance only occurs based on need. You can select using the winter maintenance level when creating an order depending on the weather conditions.

You must maintain a service frequency for the cleaning object. You allocate service types belonging to the category Cleaning/Winter Maintenance to the appropriate route.

You can allocate subordinate cleaning objects (for example, trashcans on a sidewalk) to a cleaning object. This allocation creates the link between the subordinate cleaning objects and the regional structure.

Cleaning objects can be subdivided into various categories. You can specify in the Customizing settings for a category which fields are to be displayed later on the screen for the cleaning object, in other words, which data can be entered (for example, width, length, cleaning method).

If you want to add your own fields to the cleaning object category, you can do this using customer include CI_ROB.

Property

A property is an object used to bill cleaning of cleaning objects. Cleaning objects cannot be billed directly. Several cleaning objects can be allocated to one piece of property.

Example:

n cleaning objects or n portions of cleaning objects can be allocated to a property. A cleaning object has 200 m that need to be cleaned and covers an odd house number interval from 1 to 99. A portion of this cleaning object can have 15 m for cleaning and can cover an odd house number interval from 13 to 27.
