Migration of Disconnection Documents in IS-U

Use

You can now use IS-U Migration to migrate disconnection documents, disconnection orders, and disconnection entries from your legacy system to IS-U/CCS.

The disconnection documents are migrated over several steps:

1. Create disconnection document (migration object DISC_DOC)

2. Create disconnection order (migration object DISC_ORDER)

3. Create disconnection entry (migration object DISC_ENTER)

You can specify the following reference objects for the disconnection documents:

Business partner, contract account, contract, connection object, premise, installation, and device.

You can specify a device or flat rate installation (installation without device) as the disconnection object.

Effects on Existing Data

Effects on Data Transfer

Disconnection entries cannot be migrated until the disconnection objects (migration object DISC_DOC) have been migrated, and the disconnection orders (migration object DISC_ORDER) have been created.

Effects on System Administration

When you migrate disconnection documents that have the "disconnection dunning level reached" disconnection reason, ensure you have deactivated the event linkage for the IS-U disconnection workflow ISUDISC12. This prevents the creation of new disconnection documents during migration.

Effects on Customizing

Further Information

For more information, see the documentation in the DISC_DOC, DISC_ORDER, and DISC_ENTER migration objects.

For general information on the procedures, see the documentation on the migration concept for disconnection documents.
