ISU_UTIL_1: Formula Profile Calculation (Enhanced)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Utilities, Waste & Recycling, Enhancement Package 2, Business Function Utilities, General Enhancements (ISU_UTIL_1) , you can use default values for non-existent input profile values within formula profile calculation and divide the formula profile calculation into different formula groups and calculate them separately.
Default Values
You define default values for the formula profile calculation in Customizing under Define Default Values. You can either enter a constant value and/or an ID for a formula variable that determines the default values using a determination method.
If you want to use default values you have to set the default value indicator in the formula definition for the input parameters in Customizing under Define Formulas. If you have set this indicator, you can allocate the ID for default values in the input parameters when you define a formula allocation using the Create Profile Header transaction.
In the new BAdI ISU_EDM_FORMCALC, the status for the default values (IU012, valid values) is defined using the method DETERMINE_DEFVAL_RESULT_STATUS (default implementation).
Formula Groups
You define formula groups in the Utilities menu under Energy Data Management -> Profile Calculation -> Formula Groups -> Create/Change.
In the new BAdI ISU_EDM_FORMGRP, you can use the method CHECK_ACTION_ALLOWED to check whether the changes (action) are permitted when the data is saved.
If you have defined formula groups in Customizing, you can enter the ID of the formula group in the profile header of the formula profiles on the tab page Details.
The new BAdI ISU_EDM_FORMINST provides the following methods:
- DETERMINE_DEFAULT_FORMGRP
- You can use this to define that a formula group is allocated by default when a new formula allocation is created.
- CHECK_INPUT_DATA
- Additional input checks for formula allocation are possible using this method.
- ACTION_PICK_FORMGRP
- If you double click the field #formula group ID# an action can be performed in the formula allocation and in the calculation workbench.
If you defined formula groups, three tab pages appear in the calculation workbench:
1. Formula Allocation
2. Formula Group (asynchronous)
3. Asynchronous
On the tab page Formula Group (Asynchronous), if you enter the formula group ID you can compress the calculation trigger for this formula group and calculate this formula group. If you set the indicator Selection without Formula Group, all the formula allocations that are not allocated to a formula group are calculated.
You can use the functions on the Asynchronous tab page to carry out an overall calculation independent of a formula group definition.
