ISU_UTIL_1: Limit Point of Delivery Allocation and Profile Allocation (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Utilities, Waste & Recycling, Enhancement Package 2, Business Function Utilities, General Enhancements (ISU_UTIL_1), you can define in Customizing that the allocation of the point of delivery at register level, or the allocation of the profile to the register is to be automatically limited during device installation, removal and replacement and when the logical register number is changed.

To limit the point of delivery allocation, go to Customizing for SAP Utilities under Device Management -> Installation -> Basic Settings -> Define System Parameters for Installation/Removal/Replacement and set the parameter PRORATEPOD - Limit PoD Alloc. for Rem./Repl./Mod./Chnge to Logical Reg.

To limit the profile allocation, go to Customizing for SAP Utilities under Device Management -> Installation -> Basic Settings -> Define System Parameters for Installation/Removal/Replacement and set the parameter PRORATEPRO- Limit Prof. Alloc. for Rem./Repl./Mod./Chnge to Logical Reg.
