,,Enhancements to Order Combination (New)
Use
In some industry sectors (metal, papaer, and textile industries), standard operations are performed for different products during the production process. Using order combination, you can group these operation results together in a combined production order.
In Release IS-MP 46C1, we have made the following enhancements to order combination:
- Introduced a selection profile that controls the selection of production orders and the combination type.
- Introduced quantity distribution brought forward, and automatic goods receipt of the original orders being confirmed for the combined order.
- Included display of the combined order in the order report, and the pegged requirement in the current requirements/stock list.
- Introduced a reset for the status "Technically completed" for combined production orders.
- Introduced deletion of manually added co-products in combined production orders.
Customizing is now available for the enhancements Selection Profile in Order Combination" and "Quantity Distribution Brought Forward for Original Orders in Confirmation for Combined Production Orders" (see below).

Each user can define one or more user-specific selection profiles. In Customizing for the selection profile, you define which order type is used to create the combined production/process order, how the orders are to be combined, and whether the order used as a template should also be used as the reference order:
Customizing: Mill Products → Enhancements for Production Planning and Production Control (PP) → Order Combination → Manage Selection Profile for Combination
