Archiving JVA-data

Description

With the actual release three new items came into the JVA archiving periphery (represented by the archiving object JV_OBJECT, JV_BILLING, JV_PRICING):

  • Interface between the reportwriter/reportpainter functionality and the R/3 archiving objects. As a consequence each reportgroup can be connected to an appropriate archiving object and started directly from the archiving menue to read archived data (mainly in the batch).

  • An ABAP-Report periphery came in for the objects JV_OBJECT and JV_BILLING to read data from the archive and/or the database. If the totals-reports are executed in dialog mode a drill to the lineitems is possible (independend if the corresponding lineitems are archived or still present on the database).

  • For JV_OBJECT a new archive mode came in as a (changeable default) to read archived data subsequently via the fast and index-orientated Archive Information System (R/3 ArcIS). The R/3 ArcIS is available as an add on tool via the respective SAPSERVx-servers (including explicit documentation) and will be standard in the next release. By default the totals and lineitems will be archived sorted by Joint-venture, account for JV_OBJECT and the lineitems will be archived sorted by documentnumber for JV_BILLING.
