Pick Lists in Delivery Processing

Description

As already mentioned for Release 4.0A, the SD picking functions that were available before Release 4.0A will still be maintained but not developed any longer. The necessary activities were removed from the IMG. Further developments refer only to picking using transfer orders in Lean WM or in WM with full functionality. The following lists in delivery processing will not be maintained any longer:

• Pick list with output type EK00

• Combined pick list with output type SK00

SAP recommends to create transfer orders for deliveries as a new document for pick lists.

Effects on Customizing

You find out how to set your system for Lean WM in Customizing under Shipping -> Picking in the Lean WM section.

If you want to use the pick list with the "old" procedure, you can maintain it by carrying out the following transactions:

• To maintain output types, carry out transaction V/38.

• To assign pick list types to shipping points, carry out transaction OVLT.

• To assign pick lists to their own forms and programs, carry out transaction V/53.
