Business Package for Compliance Management with SAP GTS (New)

Use

The Business Package for Compliance Management with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) is a new function that requires SAP Enterprise Portal 60.3 Support Package 02 and can be used with SAP GTS 2.0 SP 08 and higher. The Business Package (BP) is assigned to appplication component SLL-LEG: Legal & Logistics Services and is available in the following languages:

  • EN: English
  • DE: German
  • FR: French
  • JA: Japanese

The BP for Compliance Management with SAP GTS supports two roles, namely the #Trade Services Representative# and the #Compliance Manager#. The BP for Compliance Management with SAP GTS enables both the trade services representative and the compliance manager to perform checks on business transactions in advance of actually executing them. The BP for Compliance Management with SAP GTS improves intra-company communication by responding quickly to requests for information from a specific department within the company. For example, the sales department may make enquiries as to whether specific business transactions they have planned comply with relevant legal regulations.

The trade services representative and the compliance manager can access the information they need for their daily work using the Enterprise Portal. The Enterprise Portal allows them to perform the following:

  • Sanctioned party list (SPL) screening
  • Export regulation checks
  • Legal classification determination

The compliance manager, in addition to the above, is able to perform the following tasks:

  • Display business partner details when checking general addresses
  • Display the following reports in real time:
  • SPL

  • Export

  • Import

  • Embargo

  • Display the following data for the last 24 hours:
  • Ratio blocked/total documents

  • Display blocked/total documents in percentage

The quick overview and easy access of information through the Web browser enables a company to:

  • Make the relevant information available to specialists in other departments besides the foreign trade department
  • Reduce costs by blocking potentially non-compliant business transactions at an early stage
  • Save time by reproducing information for different company associates instantly.

General Changes to Business Package

This business package uses DESIGN 2003 for HTMLB, XHTMLB, and PHTMLB. It supports the Web browsers Internet Explorer 5.50 and higher and Netscape Navigator 7.00 and higher.
