Improving Performance: Procedures for Pricing

Description

You can assign all procedures that are relevant to pricing to a one dependency group, so that these procedures are only processed for pricing.

1. Create dependency group SAP_PRICNG in Customizing.
2. Assign the procedures to this dependency group.
3. Assign all procedures in this dependency group to the configuration profile.
4. On the value assignment screen, define that pricing is on request only.

These procedures are only processed when you choose pricing, not every time you press ENTER.

Response times improve considerably, especially if the configuration model has many pricing-relevant dependencies that can be reformulated into procedures.
