ERP_UID_02: Registry Communication Based on Process Types (new)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enhancement Package 4 (SAP_APPL 604), business function Item Unique Identification (Additional Functions) (ERP_UID_02), the system determines the creation of an IUID-related message based on goods movement information.

The system determines the process type (for example, consumption, disposal, or custody change) by considering the movement type and the special stock indicator used in goods movement. The process type specifies which information is sent to the registry.

If you want to use this function, you must define a process type for the combination of movement type and special stock indicator in the IMG activity Define Movement Types for Registry Communication.
