ISR_GLT_COM_4: Trading Contract Consolidation (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension Global Trade (EA-GLT 605), Business Function Trade, Commodity Management 4 (ISR_GLT_COMMODITY_4), you can group together open or partially open trading contract items into new trading contract items. To consolidate open items, use the Trading Execution Workbench (TEW). This enables you to select the outbound items that you want to consolidate. These are then grouped together into as few items as possible, and then created in a new trading contract.

SAP supplies several algorithms for consolidating conditions. One of these algorithms can be custom-defined, so that you can configure it to match your specific requirements. During consolidation, the system reduces the amount of an outbound item by the consolidated amount.

In addition, a function for freezing fields is available. This function enables you to specify fields that must no longer be changed after a document has been saved.

Effects on Existing Data

During the consolidation of trading contract items, the system creates new trading contracts.

It then creates the following new fields on the level of the trading contract item:

• Consolidation Algorithm

• Consolidated

In addition, the following field is created on the header level:

• Consolidated Item Exists

You make the Customizing settings for this function in Customizing for Logistics - General, in

SAP Global Trade Management -> Trading Contract -> Specify Group of Frozen Item Fields

SAP Global Trade Management -> Trading Contract -> Define Item Categories

SAP Global Trade Management -> Trading Contract -> Specify Group of Frozen Header Fields

SAP Global Trade Management -> Trading Contract -> Define Contract Type

SAP Global Trade Management -> Trading Contract -> Trading Contract Consolidation
