Changes to the IMG Structure for Service Parts Management

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.00 (SAP_APPL 600)Support Package 07, the structure of the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Service Parts Management has changed.

New IMG Activity

• Under the Complaints and Returns (SPM)node the BAdI Configurable Checks for Dealers was added.

The BAdI /SPE/RET_RASN_CONFIG_CHECK is provided to enable configurable checks to be performed on the incoming returns advanced shipping notification (RASN) from the dealer EDI system.

This BAdI must be implemented to perform other configurable checks on the incoming RASN from the dealer EDI system in the ERP system. A standard implementation for LIFEX(external delivery number) uniqueness check is provided.
