ISR_RETAIL_STORE_3: Business Function Retail, Store & Multichannel 3 (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Retail, Enhancement Package 4 (EA-RET 604), you can use the business function Retail, Store & Multichannel 3. With this business function, you can use the inventory management functions of the SAP Retail Store by way of a new and user-friendly Web Dynpro interface. This way store employees are enabled to manage the inventory at store level efficiently, quickly and conveniently. The design of the interface makes it possible to train users very quickly.

The functions have been converted by the SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) to the ABAP Web Dynpro interface technology. The interface content is delivered by way of the SAP NetWeaver Portal in the role Store Retailing. It is the Business Package for Store Retailing (BPISRSRS, technical release 1.40).

The new solution is designed for desktops and laptops. It runs with the browsers supported by ABAP Web Dynpro and has a permanent online connection to the ERP.

The interface corresponds exactly to SAP’s User Interface Strategy. It

  • can be configured to suit
  • supports roles and personalized work environments
  • can be run in the portal.

As before, this business function uses the switch MRM_SFWS_PLNT_GL to switch on the following small extension to the ITS-based SAP Retail Store: In the inbound invoice application, the current store is written to the G/L account items in the database (field RBCO-WERKS). Note: This function is also activated from the business function LOG_MMFI_P2P in the Purchasing area.

You can make Customizing settings for this function in Customizing under Logistics - General → SAP Retail Store –> PC Dialogs in Web Dynpro Technology The node becomes visible once you have switched on the business function.
