MDG_BUPA_2: Master Data Governance for Business Partner 7.0 Feature Pack (New)

Use

As of SAP Master Data Governance 7.0 Feature Pack (MDG_FND 748), the business function Master Data Governance for Business Partner 7.0 Feature Pack (MDG_BUPA_2) is available. This business function expands your ability to govern business partner master data.

The business function Master Data Governance for Business Partner 7.0 Feature Pack offers the following feature:

  • IBAN without BIC
MDG-BP fulfills the legal requirement of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) to only maintain the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) for SEPA countries. The maintenance and generation of bank details (Business Identifier Code (BIC)) is not required anymore. You can specify the countries only using the IBAN. For these countries you only have to enter the IBAN for a customer bank account. The system automatically provides the bank details with default values not being used by the business processes.
  • Change request types adapted for highlight changes
To use the feature Highlight Changes from the business function Master Data Governance, Generic Functions 7.0 Feature Pack the business function Governance for Business Partner 7.0 Feature Pack providesthe BC set CA-MDG-APP-BP_VC_USMD110_C02that contains the required change request types.
  • Change request types for SAP Fiori
This business function provides the BC set CA-MDG-APP-BP_CR_ODATA_05 that is required to use SAP Fiori.

  • To activate the BC set MDG Change Request Types (Business Partner) MDG 7.0 FP CA-MDG-APP-BP_VC_USMD110_C02 run the Customizing activity Master Data Governance -> Master Data Governance for Business Partner -> Configure Predefined Change Request Types -> Import Predefined Change Request Types.
  • To activate the BC set CR Types for OData CA-MDG-APP-BP_CR_ODATA_05 run the Customizing activity Master Data Governance -> Master Data Governance for Business Partner -> Configure Predefined Change Request Types-> Import Predefined Change Request Types for SAP Fiori.
