Short text
Purchasing: Goods Receipt Against Scheduling Agreement
Description
Up to Release 3.1G, you cannot post a goods receipt referencing a scheduling agreement if the latter has no open schedule lines up to the date of the goods receipt but an overdelivery tolerance has been specified or there is an open schedule line for a future date.
As of Release 3.1H, the overdelivery tolerances and schedule lines that relate to the future are taken
into account. You can post a goods receipt even if no schedule lines are open and the default quantity is therefore 0. The quantity you can enter is calculated as follows:
- If there is an open schedule line relating to a future date, the quantity of the next one is taken as a basis.
- If there is no schedule line relating to the future, the total scheduled quantity is taken as a basis.
In both cases, the overdelivery tolerance value is added (if one exists).
Example
You create a scheduling agreement item for 200 pcs. of steel with an overdelivery tolerance of 10%. You create two schedule lines, each for 100 pieces, for 01.06. and 01.07.
- First GR posting on 18.06.:
The default quantity is 100. You post this complete.
- Second GR posting on 20.06.:
The default quantity is 0. You can now enter a quantity between 1 and 110. (Calculation: next open schedule line (100) plus overdelivery tolerance (10%) = 110)
You post 110 pcs.
- Third GR posting on 23.06.:
The default quantity is 0. You can now enter a quantity between 1 and 10 pcs. (Calculation: total scheduled quantity (200) + overdelivery tolerance (10%) = 220; of which 210 already posted)
You post 10 pcs.
- Fourth GR posting on 27.06.:
The default quantity is 0. You cannot post any further goods receipts.
