Scheduling Agreement with Release Documentation (LPA): Changes Involving the Release Docu.

Description

As of Release 4.0A, more detailed information, displayed in a clearly arranged manner, is available for scheduling agreements with release documentation.

Changes in content:

For example, header data pertaining to scheduling agreement releases (such as vendor, material, materials planning and purchasing data) is displayed individually.

Furthermore, more data is taken into account in the comparison of releases (e.g. the cumulative quantities).

The release documentation is linked to the stock/requirements and MRP lists. This means that you can compare releases from within Materials Planning. After the comparison, you can generate the relevant release (forecast or JIT schedule) directly from within the release documentation.

Changes in display:

  • The release documentation is shown in table form via "table control". (However, you can set up the default values for the buyer in Customizing in such a way that your previous form of display is retained.)

  • If you wish to print the release documentation, use the "List displays" menu.

  • The fields "Transmission number", "date" and "time", which were previously on the scheduling screen, are now to be found on the release documentation screen.
