Changes in function keys assignments

Description

As part of an overall transition to standardized function key assignments in the Human Resources product, some function key assignments in Personnel Management have been changed. This includes the following main editing functions, for example:

  • F5 = now is Create
  • F6 = now is Change
  • F7 = now is Display
  • Shift + F1 = now is Delimit
  • Shift + F2 = now is Delete (This is unchanged.)
  • Shift + F9 = now is Copy
  • Shift + F12 = now is Lock

Effect on batch input

To ensure that customer batch input programs are uneffected, the old function key assignments, e.g. F6 = Create, are supported in the background.

Consequently no changes in batch input programs are required.

Changes to the Interface

The function keys that are shown in normal menus, right-mouse pop-up menus, and in the quick information given when the mouse passes over a function in the application toolbar will be different.
