Changes to the User Interface (new)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package 4 (EA-HR 604), Business Function Employee Interaction Center (HCM_EIC_CI_2), the following changes to the user interface are available to you:
- Flexible Activity View
- You can modify activity attributes to suit your requirements. You can create and display relevant activity attributes while hiding activity attributes that you are not working with. The BAdI: Flexible User Interfaces Business Add-In (BAdI) is available to you.
- Activity
- You can use the new Resolution, Creator, and Processor Org. Unit fields.
- Employee Search
- The employee search area has been optimized to a resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
- The search criteria User ID and SSN are available for external contacts and affected employees.
- The Contact area was changed to Contact Type. Along with the Employee, you can also select external contacts you have added yourself, such as Spouse or Bank.
- The address field Region is available for contacts and affected employees. You can determine the format using the ADJUST_ADDRESS_FORMAT method in the BAdI: Adjust Employee Search.
- For the external contact search, you can use the First Name, Last Name, Company, and Telephone fields. Additionally, the results list for external contacts has been enhanced. For more information on external contact data, see the releast note: EIC Enhancements.
- Activity Search
- The User ID and Affected Employee search options are available to you in the simple search.
- There are three columns with search options available in the advanced search: There, you find the new search options User ID, Org. Unit, and Processor Org. Unit.
- The Print button is available. For more information, see the release note: Activity Enhancements.
- Displaying Content
- In the activities area, a symbol or number for each tab shows how much content, if any, that tab contains.
- Service Level Agreement
- The SLA (service level agreement) tab provides you with the following new fields:
- Due Date
- Creation Date of Activity
- Personal Reminders
