Flex credits

Description

This is a functionality that enables you to administer employee flex credits. Rather than offering specific benefit plans to an employee, an employer may want to give credits. The employee can then spend these on his/her chosen benefit plans.

The functionality is to be found within Benefits and Compensation administration under enrollment. Information that you enter here is stored in a new infotype called Flex credits (0236). As with other benefits enrollments, these infotype records are automatically created and updated when an enrollment is carried out.

Effects on Customizing

It is necessary to customize your system for Flex credits. See the corresponding chapters in the implementation guide (IMG): Cost/credit formula criteria and Credit plans.
