Payroll Integration

Description

Benefits now has full integration to the International Payroll, providing the basis for further country specific payroll development.

The complete processing of benefit plan deductions and payments now allows the smooth mutual relay of benefits and payroll information.

A particular feature of this integration is the two possible interpretations of the employer costs of a plan. A new switch on the plan itself allows you to indicate that the employer cost is either of the following:

  • a hidden cost that goes directly to the provider
  • an amount that is credited to the employee to help pay the employee cost of the plan

Depending on how you set this switch, the Benefits Payroll integration will cumulate the amounts accordingly.

Additionally, you can define benefits contributions for plans such as Savings or Stock purchase plans, which are read only by bonus paroll runs. This enables employees to contribute extra money to plans when they receive a bonus.

The integration also contains the Benefits Payments report which allows countries that do not have Third Party Remittance, to list payments to be made by Financial Accounting.
