Changes in the Customizing Structure for Personnel & Organization

Use

As of EA-HRRXX 607 SP14, the Customizing structure for Personnel & Organization has been restructured in the Basic Settings and Infotypes sections:

• Basic Settings

The Activate Change Documents Customizing activity has been moved to the Security section and is now located under Security -> Data Privacy -> Logging -> Set Up Change Documents for Organizational Objects.

• Infotypes

Under Infotypes -> Infotypes for Employees, the settings for decoupling infotypes have been restructured and reduced: Many single activities are not required if an infotype is decoupled with the PM01 transaction. This change does not affect any settings that have been made with the structure delivered with previous shipments of the Personnel & Organization Customizing structure.

As of EA-HRRXX 607 SP16, the Search section has a new node ID (GUID) because Employee Self-Service (SAPUI5) now also uses this Customizing section. The order of the settings has not changed. The change does not affect any settings that have been made with the structure delivered with previous shipments of the Personnel & Organization component either.
