Deduction Priorities and Protected Net

Description

New functionality has been added to allow deduction priority

and Protected Net processing.

In the deduction priority processing the system sorts the deductions

and reduces net depending on the sequence of deductions specified by

the user. Only those dedictions that do not reduce net below zero

are taken. The user can define what happens to a deduction where there

is not enought net for it to be taken. The deduction can be ignored,

put into arrears processing and attempted to be taken again next

period, or still reduce net to be negative.

Protected Net processing is also included where Child support

deductions can only reduce net to be a specified amount.

Effects on Customizing

Configuration changes to wage types and the schema are required in

order to use deduction priority and protected net processing.
