Extension of garnishment function for Germany: Summation

Description

If a debtor has various work incomes, then for each income, the ungarnishable basic amount will be calculated. If the creditor obtains an order (from a court of law) that states that the working incomes should be calculated together then the basic amount is only calculated once. This will increase the garnishable amount.

If, in accordance with the court decision, such a summation is possible, you can create it in infotype Pf.D Garn. Amount (0114). From here you will jump to the subsequent screen Summation. This screen requires the selection of the summation procedure. If it is not clearly stated in the law as to which of the incomes are ungarnishable multiple amounts, you should give two alternative procedures. F1 help will inform you of the exact manner of action for this procedure.

Furthermore, you must indicate whether this is the main income since the law requires that the non-garnishable basic amount be calculated for the main income.
