NIC Holidays

Description

The legislative changes for NIC holidays are now available.

The new wage types /NP2 and /NP3 will hold the amount of recoveries and any refund of recoveries should an employee leave before the 13th week respectively. These two wage types will be included in the Payment to collector of taxes report in reconciliations.

Wage types: /5P1, /5P2, /5P3 and /5P4 are available to deal with retroaction.

There are also two new exceptions messages - 769 and 770.

Please note that the two payroll constants NIHMX and NIHLV hold the duration period of the NIC holiday recovery (52 weeks) and the minimum employment duration (13 weeks).

The payroll cluster display report has also been amended to include the new fields.

Three new fields have been added to the National Insurance infotype (P0069) to handle NIC holidays:
NIC holiday certificate held
Certificate received date
Recover at equivalent not contracted out rate
