New functionality in connection with holiday allowance
Scope of Functions
Release 46A offers some new functionality, and some functionality is changed.
Quota infotype / mapping table:
The solution is based on using infotype 2006 instead of 0005. A new table maps the quota types to the categories needed in payroll.
New table for control parameters:
The old table for control parameters for leave is replaced by a feature + a new table, making it more flexible to determine holiday period pro orginazational units.
Leave deduction:
Leave deduction is now based on leave quotas in infotype 2006. Deduction is performed for entitled paid leave days ordinary and entitled paid leave days 5th week.
Settlement of leave days by termination
Wagetypes OSLU and OSLD are still used as triggers for settlement
of holiday allowance in connection with termination. New functionality is automatic settlement of leave days if wanted.
Additional percent calculating holiday allowance
The system now offers the possibility of entering additional holiday
percent pro organazational unit and on a peronal level.
Tax in holiday period
The taxation in holiday period is slightly changed.
Old solution:

Effects on Customizing
Handling the rates used for leave deduction / settlement of days, the infotype 0007-field: Average days pro week is used. It is important for the whole solution that this field is maintained.
The standard functionality for transferring leave days by year end will require running of RPTIME00. The time management status will then have to be activated in infotype 7.
Quota unfotype and mapping table:
To set up the accrual part of the holiday allowance handling you
have to customize leave accruals in time management. Please follow the instructions given in chapter Managing Time Accounts with Attendance/Absence Quotas of the time management IMG.
The mapping table has to be maintained. See chapter: Enter information
on quota used.
Control parameters:
Be sure to limit the validity of the old table-entries, so the system knows
whether the period is to be processed according to old or new solution when periods are retrocalculated. See IMG node: Delimit dates for control parameters for leave.
New feature and table has to be maintained. See IMG-node: Maintain control parameters for leave (new).
Leave deduction:
Be sure to enter the rates you want to use into valuation bases of the deduction wagetypes and the new settlement wagetypes. (IMG-node: Check rates on deduction/settlement wage types)
Extra percent:
If a group of employees is given an extra percent, maintain the rule found in the IMG-node: Maintain extra percentage for holiday allowance). If additional percent is to be given on personal basis,
see documentation on wagetype VFPE.
Tax in holiday period
Be sure to read the documentation on IMG-node: Check system determined wage types, and do necessary customizing.
New processingclass:
Processingclass 65 is new and has to be maintained for some of the holiday wagetypes. Please see IMG node: Check wage type settings for cumulation/storage after holiday.
