Off cycle payroll for bonus payments

Description

Off-cycle payroll is a standard SAP HR functionality which has been configured for Release 4.5A of the Payroll Application for Thailand. This configuration is in compliance with the legal specifications and business requirements in Thailand.

The Off cycle payroll function is used in Thailand to run payroll at any time before the regular payroll cycle so as to pay employees their bonuses.

Infotype One Time Pay. Off-Cy (0267) stores details of the bonus amount to be paid as a wage type, and the date on which the off-cycle run is to be performed. The details created in infotype One Time Pay. Off-Cy (267) are processed and the bonus amount and tax, calculated and paid to employee.

The off-cycle bonus payment calculation affects only tax and no other contribution. Tax calculated during an off-cycle run is similar to tax calculated during a regular payroll run. The tax amount is withheld and paid along with tax of the regular payroll run at the end of the month. Bonus payment calculated during an off-cylce run is treated as an irregular payment.
