Authorization object for personnel control record
Description
Up to now, you could control authorization for the personnel control record using authorization for the transaction Maintain personnel control record (PA03).
From release 4.5A, the authorization object P_PCR allows you to display and process the personnel control record.
Using the authorization object P_PCR, you can differentiate between the following activities:
- Control record -> Create
- Control record -> Change
- Control record -> Display
- Control record -> Delete
You can define a user's authorization by combining these four authorization specifications. It is possible for a user to only have authorization to display, for example.
You can display the status of the personnel control record in the payroll menu without authorization. Authorization will only be checked when you call up the transaction Maintain personnel control record. Authorization will be checked for processing the personnel control record and for processing in the payroll menu.
