RPDSYS00 documentation system has been replaced

Description

The documentation of the RPDSYS00 system has been partially replaced with other types of documentation. Consequently, some RPDSYS00 object types are no longer used in the standard SAP R/3 System. This applies to the object types BOOK and CHAP in particular.
Please note that there are no separate Winhelp books for the individual books or chapters. Instead, the topics of these documentation modules have been integrated into existing Winhelp books.

You will find the documentation for PA infotypes in the Infotypes chapter of the PA - Personnel Administration book. For infotypes which are integrated in work processes, you can now display the documentation of the corresponding work process by calling 'Extended help'.

Customer-specific documentation as of Release 3.0

It is still possible for you to maintain your own documentation in RPDSYS00. You can use the RPDSYS00 object types that have been replaced for this purpose. However, if you are creating documentation, we recommend that you use the SAP hypertext system (transaction SO70).

Below is a list of all the object types of RPDSYS00 that are no longer used in the standard SAP R/3 System.

You can NO LONGER create processing and evaluation classes in RPDSYS. These are now included in the relevant chapters of the IMG. However, you can still maintain documentation for processing and evaluation classes in RPDSYS.
