Short text

New feature - Infotype default values (DFINF)

Description

The default values set in the customizing system are used when you create records. When you copy records, the system uses the values from the previous record.

However, this system procedure may not always be desirable.
The new feature DFINF allows you to define how default values are handled in the following infotypes: Organizational Assignment (0001), Planned Working Time (0007), Basic Pay (0008) and DUEVO (0020).
In the feature DFINF, you can define for each infotype whether or not the default values should be used when records are copied.

You can change these settings in the IMG section entitled Default values for infotypes.
