PD: Structural conditions

Description

This new function enables you to set additional conditions in structural reporting. This means that only objects which meet these additional conditions will be selected and displayed. Use the pushbutton 'structural conditions' to call up the function in all relevant reporting. When you press this button, a window appears in which you can define one or more structural conditions.

Changes to the Interface

New pushbutton "Set structural conditions" in reporting programs.

Changes in procedure

1. Complete the report paramenters as usual

2. Press " set structure conditions"

3. Decide whether your structure conditions are alternative (OR relationship) or additional (AND relationship).

4. Decide how the selection is to be edited via "filter".

- Object filter means that:

you want to see all objects that fulfil the conditions, regardless of whether they belong to a structure or not.

- Branch filter means that:

you only want to see "complete branches". You do not want to see objects that themselves fulfil the conditions but whose superior object does not meet the conditions.

5. In the field "CheckObjTyp" enter the object type that should fulfil the conditions.

6. In the field "root object" enter the object type and object ID of the structure condition.

7. In the field "EvalPath" enter the evaluation path (or a relationship) where the check object type should feature.

8. Choose one or more status features in which the objects should exist.

9. Press "continue" to start the selection.

When the structure conditions have been set, you will notice that the pushbutton reads "change structure conditions".
