New Authorization Object for Production Versions
Scope of Functions
Until now, you needed the following authorizations to be able to edit a production version:
- Authorization to maintain material master data at plant level (authorization object M_MATE_WRK )
- Authorization to maintain the Work Scheduling view for materials at plant level (authorization object M_MATE_STA)
The system now checks a separate authorization for the plant-specific maintenance of production versions (authorization object C_FVER_WRK ) when you call up a production version. You only still need the authorization for the material master if you edit a production version in the material master record.

Due to this change, you must review the authorizations of those users who edit production versions in your company. Assign transaction C223 Edit Production Version to the role of the corresponding users and edit the relevant authorizations.
