Changes to the Collaboration Projects IMG Structure

Use

As of cProjects 4.00, the structure of the Collaboration Projects (cProjects) Implementation Guide (IMG) has changed. In order to transfer these changes to the project IMGs, you have to generate the project IMGs again.

Deleted IMG Activities

  • Area: Documents --> Specify URLs for Windows File Explorer Integration
  • Area: Resource Management --> Basic Settings for Integration with Groupware -->
  • Transfer Business Partner Changes to WFM Core and Groupware

  • BAdI: Relevance of Business Partners for PRP

IMG Activities that have been renamed

  • The following IMG activities in the Resource Management area have been renamed and moved to the Basic Settings for Project Roles node:
  • The IMG activity Define Project Role Types for Project Type is now called Define Project Role Types.

  • The IMG activity Synchronize Project Roles to Staffing Process is now called Synchronize Project Roles with Staffing Type.

  • The Project Actions IMG activity is now called Define Staffing Actions.

  • In the Microsoft Project Integration area the Assign Fields for Import IMG activity is now called Assign Fields for Import to cProjects.
  • In the Microsoft Project Integration area, the Assign Fields for Export IMG activity is now called Assign Fields for Export from cProjects.

IMG Activities that have been moved

  • The IMG activity BAdI: Forms in the Basic Settings area can now be found under the new Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) node in this area.

You can now find the following IMG activities under the new node Basic Settings for Project Roles in the Resource Management area:

  • Define Project Role Types
  • Synchronize Project Roles with Staffing Type
  • Define Staffing Actions

These activities used to be located directly below Resource Management.

Changes to the Collaboration Projects IMG Structure in the ERP System

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension PLM 6.0 (EA-PLM 600), the structure of the Collaboration Projects Implementation Guide (IMG) in the ERP system has changed. The IMG is located under Integration with Other SAP Components --> Collaboration Projects.

Deleted IMG Activities

Area: Replication in Project System --> Define Project Scenario.

New IMG Activities

Area: Controlling --> Settings for Easy Cost Planning

Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)

  • Characteristics of CO Account Assignment to Be Created or Changed
  • BAdI: Name of Project Definition and WBS Elements
  • BAdI: Determine Controlling Scenario
