PM: Follow-up actions for maintenance notification tasks
Description
From Release 3.0C you can initiate the any follow-up actions on the basis of a task.
The triggering of a follow-up action is planned in the task catalog. A follow-up action key is assigned here to a task code.
This follow-up action key is defined in customizing and contains a list of function modules which you can define yourself.
When you select such a task during notification processing, the follow-up action modules are performed in customizing.
This gives you the possiblility to carry out your own program-specific expansions in association with certain tasks.
Examples of follow-up actions:
- printing a paper
- calling/processing an SAP transaction
Damage caused to data by errors
Software/hardware requirements
Installation information
Effects on System Administration
Effects on Customizing
The following settings must be performed in customizing:
