Serial Numbers: Transfer of Partner Data into the Serial Number

Description

Within the framework of delivery, partner data is automatically copied from the delivery into the master record of the serial number when goods issues are posted.

If partner data has already been specified in the serial number master record, this data will be overwritten with the data from the SD document. However, the system only overwrites partner data for which the indicator Copy partners from partner determination procedure has been set in Customizing.

For this, the indicator Copy partners from partner determination procedure must be set in the partner determination procedure under Functions in the profile, in Customizing for Plant Maintenance.
