Generation of Worklist for Planned Maintenance

Scope of Functions

From Release 4.6A, you can generate a worklist for planned maintenance from maintenace planning.

Using the list editing function for notifications ("worklist"), it is possible to combine several notifications, which have been generated by maintenance plans, into one order. For example, you can select all the notifications for a particular work center, location or room and combine the notifications that should be processed together.

Example

Every three weeks a specialist comes to your company, who requires a toolbox for some maintenance activities.

Previously, the specialist received several orders, in which the activities to be performed were described. The organization and completion confirmation were unnecessarily repeated in the individual orders.

You can use the worklist for planned maintenance to combine all relevant notifications into one order. For example, you can select the notifications for this order according to work center. The specialist receives only one order, thereby saving paper. The processing and completion confirmation of the activities performed have been simplified considerably.

Process

  1. You create separate maintenance plans with maintenance call object "notification" for all the planned activities in your company. Enter a task list in the maintenance item for the maintenance plan, in which the activities are described exactly.
  2. During maintenance plan scheduling, the system generates a notification for the due date of the maintenance calls for each maintenance item for a maintenance plan.
  3. If you call up list editing for notifications in change mode, you can display the notifications generated and select the notifications, which should be combined into one order ("worklist").
  4. When an order is created from the list editing function, the selected notifications are combined into one order according to the following criteria:
  • The individual notifications are listed in the order object list. It is still clear from which maintenance plan a notification originates.

  • If you have specified a task list in a maintenance item for a maintenance plan, the operations for the task list are copied into the order. The sequence of operations corresponds to the sequence of notifications in the object list.

  1. You can print and process the order with all operations.
  2. You confirm the completed activities to the order.
