Functional Enhancements and Changes to Task Lists

Scope of Functions

The following features are new for task lists:

• Service packages
  
  

You can assign external service specifications to the operations for a task list. For Release 4.6A, it is also possible to assign internal service specifications. The distinction as to whether a service package is regarded as internal or external is made using the operation control key.

You do not have to maintain the purchasing data for operations with an internal control key.

The operation control key Service must be available for operations, to which you want to assign service packages. If the external processsing field has the feature Internally processed operation or Internally processed operation/external processing possible, the service packages should be used for internal processing.

Internal service specifications can be configured. For more information, see Configurable Service Specifications in the Task List.

• Material where-used list
  
  

From Release 4.6A, you can determine all task lists, to which a particular material is assigned as a component. However, the report does not determine any materials, which are entered in bills of material for equipment or production resources/tools for a task list.
