Determination of Settlement Rule for Sub-Orders
Scope of Functions
Previously, the settlement rule selected in Customizing, by choosing Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Basic Settings --> Order Settlement General --> Settlement Profiles, was also used for the sub-orders of an order.
Now you also have the option of determining the settlement rule differently for sub-orders.
You define how the settlement rule should be determined for sub-orders in Customizing, by choosing Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Functions and Settings for Order Types --> Settlement Time: Define Time and Distribution Rule and using the order type. The account assignment proposal, which has been maintained in the settlement profile, is thereby overriden for sub-orders.
You can choose between the following settings:
- Copying of distribution rule(s) for the highest superior order
- Copying of distribution rule(s) for the superior order
- Transfer of the highest superior order as settlement receiver
- Transfer of the superior order as settlement receiver
- No particular settings for sub-orders
