LOG_EAM_CI_2: BAPIs for Technical Objects (new and enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM, Enhancement Package 3 (EA-PLM 603),business function Enterprise Asset Management (LOG_EAM_CI_2), the following BAPIs are available for functional locations:

• BAPI_FUNCLOC_INHERIT_CHANGE

You can use this BAPI to change the data origin for certain fields of a functional location.

• BAPI_FUNCLOC_STRUC_ASSIGN, BAPI_FUNCLOC_STRUC_UNASSIGN, BAPI_FUNCLOC_STRUC_REPLACE

You can use these BAPIs to install, dismantle, or exchange a functional location at a superior functional location.

The BAPI BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE has also been extended. You can use this BAPI to change the material/serial number of a piece of equipment.
