LOG_EAM_CI_3: Fleet Management (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM, Enhancement Package 4 (EA-PLM 604), Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_3, the following new features are available in fleet management:

Enhanced Display of Reference Object

If you choose the Equipment and Assembly or Only Equipmententries as the Reference Object View in notifications and orders, a field is added to the displayed reference object. You specify this field in Customizing.

U.S. Units in Vehicle Consumption Analysis

You can use U.S. units in the vehicle consumption analysis (MCIZ).

4-Character Output Length for Gas Station

The output length of the gas station in transaction for creating consumption-relevant measurement documents (IFCU) has been increased from 3 to 4 characters.

Cancellation of Measurement Points and Goods Movement

By activating the business function, you can cancel measurement points and good movements that you recorded using consumption-relevant measurement documents (transaction IFCU).

Note

Note: You can only delete all documents created for one point in time all at once. You can only cancel documents that were created after the switch was activated. The document creation date is the decisive factor.

Customer-Specific Checks

When you save measurement values (measurement documents), you can perform your own checks using Business Add-In IMRC_CHECK_RDGS.

Effects on Existing Data

The output length for the gas station has increased from 3 to 4 characters.

Existing data is not affected.

Specify the additional field that is to be displayed for the reference object for vehicles, by choosing Set Up Reference Object Screen for Vehicles.

If you want to make your own checks when saving measurement values, implement the Check Validity of Measurement Values BAdI.
