LOG_EAM_TZS_1: EAM Time Zone Support

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM, Enhancement Package 4 (EA-PLM 604),the business function LOG_EAM_TZS_1 is available.

You can use this business function to implement functions for time-zone support. This enables you to process certain objects in any time zone. This is advisable if you run processes that cross different time zones.

This function can be used for the following objects:

• Order

• Notification

• Confirmation

• Measuring point

• Measurement document

Effects on Existing Data

When you activate this function in Customizing, all previously saved times are interpreted as system time-zone times. They are converted into the user's reference time zone. This means that the times shown on the interface could change by up to 24 hours. The data is not converted; only the interface data is converted.

To use time zone support, you must activate the function for the relevant work area in Customizing.
