LOG_EAM_LINEAR_1: Linear Data in Maintenance Documents (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 605), business function EAM, Linear Asset Management 1 (LOG_EAM_LINEAR_1), you can carry out maintenance tasks for keeping your technical linear assets in operating order. You can create and manage linear data in the following maintenance documents:

• In the maintenance notification or service notification, you can describe the condition your linear asset is in, or report a malfunction and request that the damage be repaired.

• In the maintenance order or service order, you can plan maintenance tasks in detail that are to be carried out in the linear asset and monitor the progress.

• In the operation (maintenance order, service order), you can describe each maintenance task that is to be carried out in your linear asset.

• In the confirmation (individual time confirmation, collective time confirmation), you can record the processing status of a maintenance order.

• In the measurement document, you can enter data that you measured at a measuring point or read on a counter.
