LOG_EAM_CI_4: Enhancements to Maintenance Order BAPIs (Changed)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM (EA-PLM 605), Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_4, the following enhancements to BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL are available:

• BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN has been enhanced to support refurbishment orders (maintenance order type PM04) and enable the creation of suborders.

• BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL has also been enhanced to read refurbishment order specific data.

There is a Business Add-In (BAdI) available that allows you to control the message types of the various messages that can be issued during the processing of refurbishment orders in the BAPIs. In Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, choose System Enhancements and Data Transfer -> Business Add-Ins -> BAdI: Adjustments for BAPI Messages.
