LOG_EAM_CI_4: BAPIs for Installation and Removal of Non-Serialized BOM Items (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM (EA-PLM 605), Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_4, the BAPIs BAPI_IE4N_BOM_REMOVE and BAPI_IE4N_BOM_INSTALL are available. With these BAPIs you can remove a non-serialized material from the BOM header of a piece of equipment and install a non-serialized material into the BOM header of a piece of equipment without any user interaction required in transaction IE4N.
