Enhancements to Measurement Documents and Measuring Points (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, (SAP-APPL 605), the following enhancements have been made to measurement documents:

  • New API MEASUREM_DOCUM_RFC_CANCEL to reverse measurement documents
This API allows partners and customers to reverse measurement documents in their own developments. The API performs the same checks and calculations as those performed when setting the Reversal indicator in transaction IK12 (Change Measurement Document). There is no API available for reactivating a reversed measurement document (as is possible in IK12). If you want to do so, the best solution is to create a new measurement document.
  • Customer enhancements converted to BAdIs
To enable partners to enhance the existing solution and provide default implementations, the following customer enhancements have been converted to BAdIs. The BAdIs perform the same functions as the existing customer enhancements:
IMRC0001: MeasPoint/MeasDoc: Exit before update (after COMMIT WORK) --> BAdI MEAS_CUST_FIELDS_FILL
IMRC0002: MeasPoint: Menu exit for customer-specific function --> BAdI MEAS_POINT_FCODE_CUST
IMRC0003: MeasDoc: Menu exit for customer-specific function --> BAdI MEAS_DOC_FCODE_CUST
IMRC0005: Measure point: Exit in AUTHORITY_CHECK_IMPT --> BAdI MEAS_POINT_AUTH_CHECK
  • There is a new BAdI available for disabling the ability to reset the reversal indicator for measurement documents in IK12. DISABLE_RESET_REVERS_IND
