LOG_EAM_LINEAR_2: Linear Data in BI Content (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 606), business function EAM, Linear Asset Management 2 (LOG_EAM_LINEAR_2), new BI Content is available.

  • New BI Content for Linear Master Data
    You can use the following new DataSources to extract linear master data of your assets. The system extracts data for the start point, end point, length, and unit of measure if you have specified this data for your linear assets. You can use the ALV Grid to display the extracted data.
  • 0FUNCT_LOC_ATTR_EAML

  • 0FUNCT_LOC_TEXT_EAML

  • 0FUNCT_LOC_HIER_EAML

  • 0EQUIPMENT_ATTR_EAML

  • 0EQUIPMENT_TEXT_EAML

  • 0EQUIPMENT_HIER_EAML

  • New BI Content for Maintenance Orders
    You can use the following new DataSources to extract linear master data from maintenance orders.
  • 0PM_OM_OPA_1_EAML

  • 0PM_OM_OPA_2_EAML

  • 0PM_OM_OPA_3_EAML

The system extracts data for the object number, start point, end point, length, and unit of measure if you have specified this data in maintenance orders. You can use the ALV Grid to display the extracted data.
  • New BI Content for Maintenance Notifications
    After enhancing the communication structure, you can use the following LIS DataSources to extract linear data from maintenance notifications at header level and item level:
  • 2LIS_17_I0NOTIF

  • 2LIS_17_I0ITEM

Effects on Existing Data

If you execute the data extraction in transaction RSA3 for one of the above mentioned DataSources, the system extracts the following data of your linear assets and outputs it as additional table fields:

  • Object Number (OBJNR) - only for maintenance orders
  • Start Point (START_POINT)
  • End Point (END_POINT)
  • Length (LINEAR_LENGTH)
  • Unit of Measure (LINEAR_UNIT)
