LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3: Structure List for Technical Objects

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP05 (EA-APPL 617), you can use the business function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 3 (LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3).

This business function enables you to display structure lists for technical objects on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance. Structure lists not only make it easier to find technical objects and materials in orders, notifications, task lists, and maintenance plans, but they also provide essential information about the technical objects and materials. You can display structure lists for any technical objects that are part of a hierarchy.

Effects on Existing Data

On the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance, the input help for the Technical Object field has the new tab Structure List. In the operation details, you can assign materials using the new pushbutton Select from Structure List.

You can use structure lists when creating and changing the following maintenance documents:

• Maintenance notifications
  Structure list for the technical object in the General Data at header level

• Maintenance orders
  Structure list for technical objects at header and operation level and for selecting materials in the operation details

• Task lists
  Structure list for technical objects at header and operation level and for selecting materials in the operation details

• Maintenance plans
  Structure list for the technical object assigned to the maintenance item
