LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3: Setting Additional System Statuses in Orders and Notifications

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP05 (EA-APPL 617), you can use the business function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 3 (LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3).

Up to now, some of the system statuses that you were able to set in the SAP GUI transactions for orders and notifications could only be displayed on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance. This business function enables you to change the following system statuses on the PM Web UI as well:

  • Maintenance Order
  • Do not execute

  • Complete (Business)

  • Cancel business completion

  • Lock

  • Unlock

  • Set Deletion Flag

  • Reset Deletion Flag

  • Maintenance Notification
  • Put in Process Again

  • Set Deletion Flag

  • Reset Deletion Flag

You can set these statues not only directly in the order and in the notification, but also in the Order and Notification List.

The technical IDs of the system statuses that are set for the current order or notification are displayed in the Identification Region. The descriptions of these system statuses are displayed in a tooltip. In the Order and Notification List, there is also a tooltip for the values in the System Status table column.

Effects on Existing Data

In orders and notifications, the statuses listed above are available in the menu of the Set System Status pushbutton on the PM Web UI.
